We get Identity, Endpoint and Cloud Security right for our clients, from strategy through to hands-on engineering. We’re a boutique, growing team of senior specialists who know Identity inside out.

The role

You'll be one of our Identity delivery engineers, working on client Identity engagements with Active Directory and Entra ID at their core. No two look the same: a short health check, a migration or hardening program, or a stint embedded in a client's team.

Sometimes you'll lead, sometimes you'll support, and you'll also work alongside our specialists in platforms like BeyondTrust, Silverfort and SailPoint. You don’t need experience in all of them, or any of them, to apply. What matters is that you’re keen to learn, and we’ll get you hands-on with them on real client work.

We’re hiring at two levels:

• Mid-senior: strong hands-on AD and Entra ID delivery experience, ready to own a workstream.

• Senior/Lead: deep expertise, comfortable setting direction on an engagement and mentoring other engineers.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 + super (Mid-senior) or $160,000–$190,000 + super (Senior/Lead), depending on experience.

Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid)

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environments across client engagements

• Lead or support AD health checks, hardening and tiered administration reviews

• Design and implement Conditional Access, MFA, SSO and enterprise app provisioning

• Automate identity operations and reporting with PowerShell

• Document and hand over your work so client teams can run it confidently after we leave

• Pick up Privileged Access and Identity Governance work alongside our specialists as you grow

• When embedded with a client, set the standard for how cybr:co delivers, day to day

What you’ll bring

• Deep, current hands-on experience with Active Directory (GPO, DNS, DHCP, ADCS, tiered administration) and Entra ID (Conditional Access, MFA, hybrid identity, enterprise app provisioning)

• Solid understanding of authentication and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC)

• An engineering approach to identity, including PowerShell, scripting and API integration skills

• Confidence working directly with clients: explaining, not just doing

• A current Baseline or NV1 security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to get one (Australian citizenship is generally required). Many of our clients are in federal government and financial services

• Right to work in Australia, and based in or able to work hybrid from Sydney

Nice to have

• Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience

• Experience with SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Delinea or similar PAM and IGA tools. If you haven’t used them yet, bring the curiosity to learn
